Overview

GameStick, promoted as the world’s most portable TV games console is the size of a USB flash drive that plugs directly into the back of a TV through an HDMI port and ships with its own Bluetooth controller.

Ask

After receiving the initial logo and palette I was tasked with creating the console’s boot up sequence along with developing the design of the initial user interface and the packaging.

Solution

To compensate for the attenuated logo a large extrusion was introduced to the animated version to give the logo both weight and depth. Packaging and the User Interface were created in muted tones to amplify the Magenta accent and an icon suite was developed based upon the typography of the logo.
