The Stars Group's gaming content includes brands such as BetStars, Full Tilt and PokerStars, the world's largest online poker site.

I was tasked with elevating the aesthetic of PokerStars’ content. Previous key visuals and title screens were simply designed by using lockups of the brand font. The Stars Group wanted to create a more varied look across all content to reflect the diverse nature of their portfolio of games.

Solution

Lockups were created from a wide range of typefaces, each appropriate to their subject’s theme. These were then taken in to Cinema 4D, extruded or given some form of a 3rd dimension and then housed within a complimentary environment. As well as designing content for PokerStars I was also tasked with designing and art directing a range of lockups and title screens created for the UFC and PokerStars marketing sponsorship.
